Important Instruction for Online Application for WBMDFC Pre Matric Scholarship:
- Eligible students are to apply ONLINE at http://www.scholarships.gov.in
- Students must be a citizen of India and domicile of West Bengal.
- Students having AADHAR number are advised to register with it, as preference will be given to AADHAAR seeded eligible students during disbursement. This will enable in directly crediting scholarship amount to student AADHAAR linked bank account through Aadhaar Payment Bridge in fast track mode.
- The bank account must be an active account number. One registration must be done with one bank account number. However, relaxation for two registrations is allowed for pre-matric application only.
- Student should have obtained minimum 50% marks in the last final examination.
- Students who are applying for the first time will have to submit application as FRESH candidate.
- One registration must be done with one mobile number. However, relaxation for two registrations is allowed for pre-matric application only. All communication will be made on this number.
- APPLICATION IN RECEIPT OF SCHOLARSHIP BENEFIT LAST YEAR AND HAVING A PERMANENT ID MUST REPEAT MUST APPLY UNDER RENEWAL CATEGORY ONLY.
Pre-Matric Scholarship:-
- Students studying from class I-X in recognized institutions having UDISE code are eligible.
- Student of class-I are exempted from the criteria of securing 50% marks in last examination.
- Student’s Annual family income of the applicant should not exceed 1 (one) lakh.
- No need to upload any documents.
- Students have to submit all relevant documents (Photocopy of Aadhaar card, photocopy of bank passbook having account number and & IFSC details. Annual family income certificate issued by Pradhan/Councilor /MLA/Gazetted officer etc.) along with the print out of online application to the institution only.
Last Date of Online Application:
For fresh- 31st August, 2017
For Renewal-31st July, 2017.
