Eligibility for the
scholarship:
Scholarship award will be
sanctioned in the case of students whose
parents/guardians income from
all sources does not exceed Rs.44, 500 per annum.

This is a
centrally sponsored scheme. The expenditure is shared between centre and state
in 50:50 ratio.
The aim of this Scheme is to motivate children of OBCs
studying at pre-matric stage. The income ceiling for eligibility is Rs.
44,500/- per annum.
In addition, Rs.500/- per
student per annum to all students i.e. hostellers as well as day scholars is
also given as Ad-hoc grant.
